We believe that the best form of information is crowd sourced and verified, therefore we beckon on you to submit only confirmed candidates and also provide an online link where we can verify the candidates authenticity.
Yes, NigeriaVotes can be used in the future for actual voting as an alternative form of voting for voters who may otherwise find it difficult to go to their polling location on Election Day. A total of 14 countries have now used similar remote Internet voting for binding political elections or referenda. Within the group of Internet voting system users, four core countries have been using Internet voting over the course of several elections/referenda: Canada, Estonia, France and Switzerland. Estonia has implemented Internet voting in national elections since 2005 and the percentage of voters voting via Internet has trended up in each successive election.
